SAFETY AUDITS
Based on the principles of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), environmental safety audits conducted at targeted facilities focus on key elements such as Access Control, Surveillance, and Territorial Reinforcement.
In addition to assessing the physical environment, we also analyze program operations, including current safety and security procedures. The goal is to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of these activities in preventing workplace violence.
The proposed audits will involve visiting each directly operated location and engaging staff in reviewing safety indicators, as well as related factors such as policies, procedures, programming, and local site practices.
Each site audit will be documented in a comprehensive report that highlights key observations and provides recommendations related to safety and security enhancements, promising practices, existing deficiencies, and potential vulnerabilities.
Additionally, we will visit three to five sites following a critical incident or serious occurrence to observe debriefing and follow-up practices. Based on these observations, we will offer recommendations to strengthen future staff support and incident response processes.
